They come and they go - with something for everyone. But Mexico City's visual and contemporary art scene is white hot with the innovative, the funky, chic, cool, and crazy. That's in addition to the staid, classical, hard-to-find, and the unmissable.
There are now a number of annual events, from February Art Week, to September's gallery weekend, that provide intellectual impetus, artistic insight, and inspirational nights out, to anyone willing to look.
