The Mexico City Arena, (Arena Ciudad de México) is the leading indoor sports and performance venue in the city. In the Azcapotzalco alcaldia, just north of Polanco, it’s been open just since 2012 and has a capacity for some 25,000 spectators depending on the type of event.

  • Having begun construction in 2009, the arena is built on the former Ferrería Trail cattle ranch and stockyards. On a plot of land of some eight hectares, it’s the first arena in the city to offer extensive parking. There are also two heliports, 124 luxury viewing suites, and 850 LCD screens,
  • The outdoor LED screen is an enormous ​​6,200 square meters. Inside the arena, the central LED screen also one of the biggest in the world with a total area of ​700 square meters. Prior to the arena, no new indoor sports facility had opened since the Palacio de los Deportes in 1968.

The arena is operated by Zignia, a subsidiary of Avalanz. Zignia presents about 120 events every year in the Mexico City Arena , including national and international performing artists, wrestling, boxing, and similar sports along with a range of entertainment spectacles.
