Fundación María y Héctor García was created in 2008. The permanent exhibition shows images, documents and Héctor García’s objects. Héctor was a notable photojournalist of México in XX. The collection is comformed of more than a million images, which the author took into 30,000 reels. Material is dated from 1943 to 2008. Héctor’s wife, María, developed an important job in the building of heap; she was in charge of revealing, printing and managing the collection, so as to prevent the collection from suffering important damages.
