The Ballet Folklórico de México de Amalia Hernández is a beloved ensemble that has performed for more than 60 years. The Palacio de las Bellas Artes has been proud to host them for weekly appearances. World famous, the Mexican Folkloric Ballet has performed all over the world in 60 different countries. You're in for a solid performance of traditional dances and music from all over the world. Depending on the season, you'll experience:

Amalia Hernandez dedicated herself to rescuing traditional Mexican dance that was slowly being lost to history. Her company came together, with just eight dancer in 1952. Today, they perform more than 60 choreographed sets, most of them created by Hernández herself.
